
Susanna Lopez, PhD
Postdoctoral Fellow
Dr. Lopez is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Indigenous Health Research and Policy. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Oklahoma State University, where her research emphasized social and motivational influences of substance use in young adult populations, particularly American Indian young adults. She completed her doctoral internship at the VA Puget Sound in Seattle, WA, where she led research investigating health care access and utilization patterns among Indigenous veterans. As a Fellow, Dr. Lopez aims to continue her research interests in drinking and health behaviors in AI communities.
