Dr. Tvli Jacob is a Choctaw researcher, filmmaker, artist and teacher whose projects focus on amplifying Indigenous voices and promoting Native health. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Oklahoma State University’s Center for Health Sciences on the Cherokee Nation Campus. He also serves as the Director of Implementation and Dissemination at the Center for Indigenous Health Research and Policy.
Dr. Jacob’s documentary film work focuses on the preservation and revitalization of Indigenous cultures and serves as a platform for the telling of Indigenous stories in an Indigenous voice.
